Orientation

Students at Orientation

Welcome to Loyola and the Class of 2017! We are thrilled to have you join our community, and we are all looking forward to a fulfilling, productive, stimulating and enjoyable four years together.

We know that preparing for college brings excitement, anxiety, and lots of questions about what will happen when you arrive on campus in early August. In these coming months you should make the personal, financial, and intellectual preparations that will help to bring success in your first semester. That's where our orientation programs can help.

All students should attend one of our five Summer Orientation programs, which take place in June and early July. These are two-day programs designed to give you and your family increased knowledge of the campus, a better understanding of academic requirements and expectations, and a wealth of new resources that will help you when you return in August. But that is just the beginning! Orientation is also a chance for you to meet other members of the incoming class, supportive upper-class orientation leaders (known as the Evergreens), and a host of faculty and staff members who are here to help make your first year a success.

We always welcome your questions but also encourage you to browse through this Orientation website for helpful information and details. We are looking forward to meeting you!
