The growing interest in local history in Baltimore provides opportunities for internships in archives, museums, historic preservation groups and government agencies.
Students may take one internship for credit. The instructor's permission is required to enroll.
Interns work 8-10 hours per week in a history-related job, supervised by a qualified professional. They also submit papers to the internship instructor. Students enrolled in the internship course earn 3 credits. Grades are given based on the quality of the work.
