Continuing Music Education - Free Kodály Workshops

Continuing Education for Music Teachers

Loyola students working with children

Loyola offers free workshops for those interested in Kodály Music Education. Enjoy a day of music making, food, networking, and fabulous teaching ideas with faculty members and world class guest presenters.

In addition to participating in workshop sessions, our guests will have the opportunity to learn more about Loyola's innovative, flexible summer master's degree program in Kodály Music Education, and will go home with a wealth of kid-tested songs and teaching materials to use in their classrooms.

Each Kodály workshop is unique, and music educators are invited to attend one workshop or many.

Upcoming Workshops

Join Program Director Lauren McDougle and Materials Instructor Rebecca Foster for a free workshop. Attendees will receive several songs and activities for use in the music classroom and learn more about the certification and master's degree Kodaly programs at Loyola University Maryland. This hands-on, child-centered, accelerated program runs in July and was made for music teachers, by music teachers. Attendees will have their application fee waived.
