Merit Scholarships and Ignatius Awards

2018-19 Merit- Based Scholarships

Merit-Based scholarships are awarded to M.A.T., M.A., and M.Ed. students based on prior academic excellence.

 Master of Arts in Teaching
One Year Full Time Program
$7,500 ($2,500 per semester for SU18, FA18, and SP19)  Feb. 15th 
 School Counseling (M.Ed./M.A.) $10,000 ($2,500 per semester for FA18, SP19, FA19, & SP20)   Feb. 15th 
 Kodaly Music Education $2,000 for SU18  Apr. 1st 
Montessori Education
Washington Montessori Institute 
$7,500 ($3,750 per semester for FA18 and SP19)  Apr. 1st
 Post-AMI Diploma M.Ed. $3,000 ($1,000 per semester for SU18, FA18, and SP19)  Apr. 1st

2018-19 Ignatius Awards

Grants are awarded to M.A.T.,  M.A., M.Ed. students based on dedication to Jesuit mission and potential for success in the program.

Archdiocese of Baltimore- Catholic School Award

Loyola University Maryland's School of Education offers a limited number of scholarships each semester to teachers and administrators in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Applicants must complete the scholarship application each semester before registration to be eligible for the award.

How to apply:

All applicants in our non cohort program are considered for merit-based scholarships and Ignatius grants. A separate application is not required. Please submit completed program application, and all supplemental documents, to the Office of Graduation Admission by the application deadline.

Award Notification:

Award recipients will be notified at the time of admission.
