Loyola University Maryland

An experience to inspire a lifetime

Since our founding in 1852, Loyola University Maryland’s story has been steeped in academic excellence, spirit, tradition, and the active challenge to do more, be more, and seek more—from ourselves, one another, and society. On our campus, in our classrooms and labs, on the stage and athletic fields, and throughout the City of Baltimore, our students become the best versions of themselves, and they go on to seek fulfilling lives and careers.

Our Jesuit, liberal arts education distinctly prepares students to learn, lead, and serve in a diverse and ever-changing world. And beyond an exceptional education, Loyola emboldens students to discover and define their own strong truths—and how to live them well.
