Resources to Use

Verbose description:

Title: Resources to Use...

Text box 1: Speaking to Professors during Office Hours / Emailing with Questions -- The professors at Loyola are here to teach, and most want to help!  All faculty hold office hours on campus and have a Loyola University email for students to use, so why not use them?  Be respectful, though -- make an appointment if you want to be sure they will be free.

Text box 2: Syllabus -- Professors create syllabi for a reason.  There is some meaningful material there! For example, where their office is and what the office hours are, and what their email is, how you'll be graded throughout the semester, and what will happen if academic dishonesty is committed. Don't miss the class and department policy on academic dishonesty, for example.  It can vary between departments, and between professors.
