Emerging Scholars: A Celebration of Graduate Research

Loyola University Maryland will host the fifteenth annual “Emerging Scholars: A Celebration of Graduate Research,” an event highlighting the scholarly work of Loyola’s graduate community, on Friday, April 17, 2026 from 6 - 8 p.m. on the third floor of the Andrew White Student Center. The evening features an awards ceremony, poster session, and reception.

Awards to be presented at the event included:

  • Dr. Bernard A. Saltysiak Medal for Clinical Excellence in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Doctoral Medal for Excellence in Clinical Psychology
  • Graduate Medal for Achievement Excellence in Clinical Professional Counseling
  • The Loyola University Maryland Award for Research in Theology
  • Reverend John E. Wise, S.J., Medal for Distinguished Achievement in Education
  • Medal of Excellence in Forensic Science
  • Graduate Medal for Achievement Excellence in Business
  • Graduate Medal for Academic Excellence in Emerging Media
  • Graduate Medal of Excellence in Data Science

The event is sponsored by the Office of Graduate Education.
