Eighth grade work completion during class time
Abstract:
This action research study examined the relationship between setting goals and task completion. Students completed a brief survey regarding their feelings about being motivated in school. Students were then asked to set a long-term academic goal and short-term goals to assist them along the way. These goals were set over a two-month period during the 3rd quarter of the academic year.
