- Class of 2019
- ProgramProfessional's MBA
David’s motivation to pursue an MBA was two-fold: While he felt that earning his master’s would open doors in his career, he also simply loves learning. He made the decision to pursue a part-time Professional’s MBA at Loyola because he has a permanent leadership position within Mercy Health Services’ supply chain department, and he didn’t want to halt his career to commit to a full-time MBA program. Furthermore, many of his colleagues at Mercy are Loyola graduates, so he says it seemed like an obvious choice. David has been most impressed by the program’s flexibility and the help he’s received from the dean’s office to balance taking classes while progressing in his own career. David’s goal is to continue pursuing executive positions within the health care industry, because he comes to work each day knowing that he’s helping make health care more affordable for those who need it.

Especially in the core courses, the Jesuit business education appeals to me because it focuses on reflection and how business leaders’ actions affect the world in which we live.
