"If you are looking for a program that will help you unlock your talents and challenge you beyond your comfort zone, then Loyola's emerging leaders MBA program is for you," says Kristen, who lives in the Hampden neighborhood of Baltimore. Kristen earned her bachelor's degree in exercise science from the University of Akron. Kristen believes the smaller class sizes and group setting has allowed her to experience different perspectives and understand the value of teamwork. "Working as a team is essential in the business world. We are constantly working on our communication and conflict-resolution skills," says Kristen. She entered Loyola's program with a non-business background, so she appreciates her professor's patience with her learning the material and their flexibility with office hours. During her time at Loyola, she has also realized her passion for statistics. Post-graduation, Kristen will join University of Maryland Medical Systems as a reimbursement data analyst where she’ll work to monitor patient charges for adherence to industry compliance and regulation.
