- Class of 2019
- Major, Minor Marketing, Information Systems
Kirsten is the defensive captain of the Greyhound’s women’s lacrosse team. In 2018 she was named the Women’s Lacrosse Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Originally from Sykesville, Md., Kristen is studying business administration with a marketing concentration and minoring in information systems. After she earns her degree, Kristen will launch her career in marketing with the Bozzuto Management Company as a sales and marketing associate. She will be working at one of their locations in either Maryland or Washington, D.C. For Kristen, her education and her experience at Loyola have prepared her well for her future: “I continue to see how the lessons I’ve learned in the classroom directly translate to my career path,” says Kristen, who chose Loyola because she wanted to go to a smaller school, stay close to home, and play lacrosse. On campus, she also serves on the student-athlete advisory committee. “My professors make a point to offer opportunities to do real-world projects that help practice critical and creative thinking.” Her favorite thing about Loyola? The network of support from her teammates, professors, fellow students, faculty, and staff.
