Samantha says small class sizes, the campus, and its location in Baltimore make Loyola feel like home. The Manhasset, N.Y., native is a Sellinger Scholar who also holds student leadership positions with the Microfinance Club and IAmThatGirl, a nonprofit organization. She is a member of the Financial Management Association, Women in Business Club and Investment Club. Samantha’s experience with the Global Information Systems Study Tour in Ireland (better known as Tech Trek) sparked her interest in how technology shapes the current financial system—and encouraged her to pursue a double concentration in both finance and information systems. Samantha’s career goals include working in asset management or in the corporate sector at a large institutional bank in Manhattan. With guidance from the Career Center, Samantha was able to secure an internship with JPMorgan Chase. Her favorite thing about Loyola? “The kind, caring professors and the sense of community here.”
