Loyola faculty, staff, and administrators are here to support our students and help them succeed—whether on campus or remotely.
Tutoring and academic coaching
Peer and professional tutoring: The Study offers online tutoring and all its services free of charge to undergraduate and graduate students. Learn more on the Study’s tutoring site.
Academic Success Workshops: Undergraduate students can register for a workshop on the Study’s workshops site.
Time management coaching and academic coaching: The coaches and the director of The Study will meet with undergraduate students via Skype or Zoom for virtual sessions. The director can also work with students via email or phone, if a student prefers. Students can register for these services on the coaching services site or by contacting Molly Fredette at email@example.com.
The Writing Center offers synchronous online tutoring to all students with tutors, who conduct real-time 45-minute Zoom conferences with students. Visit the center’s website for up-to-date information.
The Loyola/Notre Dame Library
The Library is open for all students wherever you are. Chat with a librarian 24/7, learn new technologies in virtual pop-up classes, and access eBooks, articles, and more at www.lndl.org. You can sign up for the latest updates at www.lndl.org/alert. If you are in the Baltimore area, you can take advantage of limited in-person hours when the building is open Monday-Thursday from noon – 6 p.m. and Friday noon – 3 p.m. Please note, if utilizing the library in-person, you will be required to wear a face covering as well as maintain proper physical distancing at all times. Most important, you will not be permitted entrance to the library without showing a green “all-clear” pass from Loyola’s Campus Clear app. If you are not already enrolled in Campus Clear and want to visit the library, please reach out to Student Health Services at firstname.lastname@example.org to receive the instructions. The Counseling Center is offering support to all students. Visit their COVID-19 resources page and learn about their remote counseling services.
ALANA (African, Latinx, Asian and Native American) Services provides support, services, and programs that facilitate the success of all undergraduate ALANA students at Loyola. You can find more info about programming and services that will be offered online this fall through ALANA's website.
Disability Support Services
The Disability Support Services Office (DSS) staff is working remotely to assist all students and faculty. DSS staff are available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Learn more on the DSS site.
All offerings are available remotely to all students, who can book 1-1 appointments that will take place in Zoom, attend online career fairs to meet recruiters through brief video interviews, and network with alumni from all over the country through presentations and small group conversations. Technology Services: The Office of Technology Services (OTS) is here to help you with all your technology needs. The OTS staff can help with your Loyola account, any Loyola systems, and hardware repair if your computer is having problems. Visit the OTS website for a knowledge base and service catalog that will help you find the answers you need. If you require additional assistance, you can reach out to the Help Center via email (email@example.com) or phone (410) 617-5555. Typically during the semester, OTS hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Here is a short Introduction to Technology Services for Students video that highlights many of the technology services and systems available to you as a Loyola students.
