About the Program

Loyola University Maryland has been awarded a six-year, $2 million Scholarships in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (S-STEM) grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to launch the Empowered Scholars Program. This program supports academically talented students with financial need who are majoring in biochemistry, biology, chemistry, engineering, or forensic science, preparing them to thrive in today’s most in-demand STEM fields.
