Questions for Chair

Imagine no student at Loyola has heard of Student Philanthropy Council or knows that alumni, students, and friends can make gifts to the University to support their area of interest. How would you generate awareness and excitement for philanthropy to ultimately achieve our fundraising and engagement goals?

The efforts of SPC span not only the entire academic year, but also the entirety of a student’s Loyola career. How would you keep philanthropy interesting and ensure the campus community continues to engage with our programs?

Explain a time where you have worked as part of a team and identify how you determined goals, the processes you used to achieve those goals, and how the team worked together. How would you take this experience to SPC’s leadership and ensure we stay on-track and focused throughout the entire year?

Questions for Vice-Chair, Campus Outreach and Events

We are a small team and Loyola is a large University. Why is it important for us to develop and maintain strong campus partnerships across many different departments, organizations, and student groups?

Explain a time when you made an important connection. Why was this connection important to you? What goal(s) did it help you accomplish, and how do you maintain connection with this person/organization today? How could you use this experience to build on SPC’s current campus partnerships?

This position will support up to 6 Class Officers. Class Officers are the “eyes and ears” of the council and are generally front and center in the campus involvement discussion. How would you ensure all Class Officers are maintaining relationships and pursuing new connections? How do you plan on supporting them as they help us achieve our team goals?

Questions for Vice-Chair, Marketing

Of the clubs on campus, who has the most impressive marketing strategy and how would you employ similar strategies to promote Senior Class Gift?
