The ICUE conference is hosted biannually by the Urban Education Collaborative, an urban education research center at The University of North Carolina (UNC) at Charlotte working to improve K-12 urban education and quality of life through community partnership. This year’s theme is “Speaking Truth to Power: Sustaining Excellence in Urban Realities.” The CELSJE Director Dr. Qi Shi, with two faculty fellows Dr. Stephanie Flores-Koulish and Dr. Leah Saal, and Dr. Lisa Schoenbrodt, professor of Speech Language Pathology will present their findings from three different research projects in a panel that centers around the theme “equity and social justice in education” on Nov. 3, 2022 (11:20am-12:35pm) in Cancun, Mexico.
