Simon Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship

Student Involvement

Group discussions

Students from any discipline are encouraged to get involved with the Simon Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship. You can engage according to your interest and availability—we have options for all. On the academic front, consider if the minor in Innovation & Entrepreneurship might complement your existing coursework, or sign up for Intro to Innovation & Design Thinking, BA210.

You don’t have to declare the course of study in order to play a significant role in the CI&E. At Loyola, we can all be innovators! Apply to one of our student leadership cohorts, which include the CI&E Student Steering Committee and University Innovation Fellows.

There are also several clubs on campus affiliated with the CI&E. Check out Greyhound Group Consulting, The Entrepreneurs Club, or the Robotics Club. Throughout the year, the CI&E features a Hackathon every semester, and a variety of speakers, dinners, site visits, and other events to expose you to new ideas and to entrepreneurs who are making an impact. Sign up for the newsletter and follow us on social to stay informed about events as they come up on campus and in Baltimore’s busy entrepreneurial ecosystem!

Not sure where you fit? Schedule office hours to check in and learn more! If you have an idea for your own business or social enterprise, we want to support you, and can connect you to mentors and consultation with our Startup Executives! You might even be ready to enter your venture in the Baltipreneurs Accelerator.
