The office of financial aid administers a limited number of scholarships that are awarded to qualified members of the sophomore, junior and senior classes. Members of the senior class are given priority in this evaluation process. Students will be evaluated on their academic performance, college involvement and other criteria as specified by the donor fund. Applicants are normally informed of the Scholarship Committee's decisions during the fall semester.
Please Note: The receipt of a privately-funded or endowed scholarship may result in an adjustment in your current need-based aid package. All scholarships must be considered as additional resources in meeting a student’s financial need. Therefore it may be necessary to adjust a student’s eligibility for Federal Work-Study, the Federal Direct Subsidized Stafford Loan, Federal Perkins Loan, Loyola Student Loan, or grant assistance if awarded one of Loyola’s endowed or privately-funded scholarships.
