The scope and breadth of mental health and alcohol and other drug-related issues continue to present themselves on college campuses. Loyola is not immune to such concerns, and in an effort to combat the effects and consequences that are often associated with with mental health and substance use, SSWP works collaboratively with on and off-campus partners to address these issues and provide relevant education to students and their parents/guardians regarding ways to reduce at-risk behaviors and enhance overall wellness.
One of SSWP's most significant collaborations is with the Maryland State Collaborative to Reduce College Drinking and Related Problems, which is an endeavor to promote measurable differences in excessive drinking patterns and related harms among college students.
