Abbas Hill

Picture of Abbas HillAbbas Hill recently joined Loyola University Maryland as the Associate Director of Student Life for Housing Operations. Abbas earned his B.S. in Industrial Management / Information Systems from The University of Akron and his M.S.in Education / Human Services Counseling from Purdue University.

Abbas’s prior professional experiences include housing operations, student conduct, housing systems and technology, social justice and inclusion, and program development at Purdue University Calumet (PUC) and Central Michigan University (CMU).  While serving at PUC, Abbas helped establish the foundation of PUC’s housing operations, residence life program, and student leadership structures. 

Abbas has a passion for student affairs, student leadership development, and the student college experience. As such, Abbas served two terms (five years) as the Great Lakes Regional Advisor for the National Association of College and University Residence Halls (NACURH), Inc. – the largest student run organization in the world. He considers it an honor to serve students and staff in supervisory, advisory, and mentoring capacities, partnering with them in their journey of being the very best they can be for themselves and others.
