Beginning on Monday, March 23rd, the Writing Center will offer online writing tutoring, via Zoom, for undergraduate students for the duration of the 2020 Spring semester.
These appointments will be 1 hour appointments in order to allow extra time to navigate the technology. Please note, the Writing Center will NOT accept emailed papers. Students must meet with a tutor virtually in Zoom.
Monday-Thursday: 10 am – 8 pm
Friday: 10 am – 5 pm
Saturday-Sunday: noon – 5 pm
How to Make an Appointment
What Happens Next?
- Student and tutor receive a confirmation email confirming the appointment.
- At the time of the appointment, the student goes to the LWC online appointments page. (Click on “Appointments” tab, then “Online” from the drop down).
- The student clicks on their assigned tutor’s name and a Zoom session will initiate.
- The tutor will walk the student through the rest!
If you or your students have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Craig Medvecky, Associate Director at firstname.lastname@example.org or Lisa Zimmerelli, Director, at email@example.com
Graduate tutoring will continue only in online format via Zoom, because we have the mechanisms already in place. Any appointment scheduled for graduate tutoring will be deemed to be an online appointment until further notice, and should follow those procedures. All scheduling requests for graduate tutoring should be made through email to firstname.lastname@example.org or self-administered via Tutor Trac.
