Wellbeing Initiatives
Promoting a Culture of Care at Loyola
At Loyola, we believe that mental health and wellbeing are essential to the success of every member of our community. Through both student- and department-led initiatives, our campus is committed to creating an environment where open conversations about wellbeing are encouraged, stigma is reduced, and support is always within reach. From student organizations like Active Minds to collaborative efforts such as the Green Bandana Brigade, Mental Health First Aid trainings, and campus-wide awareness campaigns, these programs bring together students, faculty, and staff to foster compassion, connection, and a true culture of care at Loyola.
Active Minds
Active Minds is a student-lead organization that seeks to change the conversation about mental health on our campus. They aim to do this by holding club meetings, developing and executing campus-wide programming efforts, and partnering with local organizations to break the stigma surrounding mental health.
Initiatives

- Stress Less Week - Dedicated week before finals each semester designed to provide education about stress and anxiety and build communities that support mental health
