Loyola University Maryland will celebrate the Class of 2021 and the Class of 2020 in a single combined ceremony at M&T Bank Stadium on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at 11 a.m.

“I am delighted that we will be able to gather in that venue for one magnificent, combined ceremony for all members of the Classes of 2020 and 2021,” said Rev. Brian F. Linnane, S.J., president. “I assure you that we will make this a very special, historic celebration of you and your accomplishments.”

Each participant will be permitted to bring two guests to the ceremony, and the event will be live-streamed. Playwright, actor, and professor Anna Deavere Smith is recording a Commencement address to share with the Classes of 2020 and 2021. She will receive a doctor of humane letters, honoris causa, from Loyola.

The Baccalaureate Mass will be held virtually on Friday, May 21, at 1 p.m. and will be live-streamed.

Questions from participants and their families can be sent to academicevents@loyola.edu, and additional information and updates will be posted on our Commencement website.
