Loyola University Maryland has been ranked No. 5 on the “Best Catholic Colleges & Universities” list by College Consensus. The “Best Catholic Colleges & Universities” ranks Catholic schools for strengths across the board, including academic quality and rigor.
“It’s great to see Loyola listed among the top five Catholic universities in the country,” said Eric Nichols, vice president for enrollment management. “It’s a testament to the value of the Jesuit, liberal arts education that we provide our students.”
Scores are found by combining the rankings of nationally and internationally cited publishers like WalletHub, the Wall Street Journal, and U.S. News & World Report to determine the Publisher Rating. In addition, Consensus gathers ratings from reputable student reviews like Cappex, Niche, and Students Review to make an overall Student Review Rating.
Other institutions on the list include the University of Notre Dame, Georgetown University, Boston College, College of the Holy Cross, among others. View the full list on the College Consensus website.
