Loyola named among nation’s top universities in Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education ranking
Loyola University Maryland was named one of the top universities nationally in the “Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education College Rankings 2022.” Loyola ranked at No. 223 among almost 800 universities on the list.
“The Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education ranking looks at practical matters of student success and learning, taking into account university resources, student engagement, academic reputation, and success after graduation,” said Eric Nichols, vice president for enrollment management. “Loyola ranked among the top third of all universities, an achievement in a ranking of this scope.”
The Wall Street Journal and Times Higher Education based the ranking on 15 individual performance indicators, including student financing, faculty performance, student recommendations, number of accredited programs, graduation rate, and student debt and salary after graduation. Loyola ranked highly in the outcomes category, which accounts for graduation rates and student financial success.
