Loyola launches strategic planning process
With an eye on the future of Loyola University Maryland, the University has launched its strategic planning process and is inviting all members of the Loyola community to participate.
The process, “Collaborate and Aspire to Reflect and Engage (CARE): Loyola University Maryland’s Strategic Planning Process 2022-2024,” opened to the community with two town halls—one in-person and one virtual—held on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022.
“What an exciting time for our University community, as we look toward the future in a new way, reflect on our strengths and challenges, consider our role in the world, and dream big about what Loyola could—or should—be in the years ahead,” wrote Strategic Planning Steering Committee Co-Chairs Eric Nichols, vice president for enrollment, and Paola Pascual-Ferrá, Ph.D., associate professor of communication, in a message to all students, faculty, staff, and administrators.
This fall, members of the University community will participate in Community Engagement Sessions, as well as individual and group brainstorms.
“Your ideas, your input, and your participation are important,” Terrence M. Sawyer, J.D., president of Loyola told the University community. “I hope you will lend your voice to this significant—and exciting—process as we shape the future of Loyola.”
Loyola has also created a strategic planning website to highlight the work of CARE and keep the community updated and engaged throughout the process.
