Loyola University Maryland was named to the 2022 list of “America’s Top Colleges” by Forbes. Loyola ranked at No. 298 on the list of 500 colleges, which “spotlights schools that offer an excellent education at a great price, graduate high-earners and propel students to become successful entrepreneurs and influential leaders in their fields,” according to the publication.

In addition, Loyola ranked at No. 157 on the Forbes list of private colleges and No. 111 on the list of colleges in the Northeast.

“The Forbes rankings take a practical look at the return on investment that colleges and universities offer their students,” said Eric Nichols, vice president for enrollment management. “While Loyola seeks to develop students personally and ethically, not just academically, we’re also proud to be recognized for equipping our students with the knowledge and skills to succeed professionally and financially.”

Forbes considered a range of data to develop the rankings, giving most weight to alumni salaries as well as including student debt, graduation rates, price-to-earnings ratios, student retention rates and academic performance.
