Loyola University Maryland to offer summer day camp for youth
Loyola University Maryland will offer Evergreen Academy for school-aged children, rising grades 5-8, during the summer of 2023.
Evergreen Academy, which will feature adventure and creativity, will give campers the opportunity to explore new interests, try new activities, and learn in a positive and energetic atmosphere with specialized activities and camp counselor mentors.
Activities include:
- Arts
- Campus tours
- Crafts
- Games
- Hiking
- Meeting new friends
- Movies
During the week-long enrichment programs, students will learn additional skills beyond lessons taught in a traditional classroom setting. The diverse curriculum for the summer camp was designed and created by Loyola faculty to engage students throughout the week, while teaching them a new set of skills they can take into the next school year.
The camp will be held on Loyola’s Evergreen campus, providing access to Loyola’s state-of-the-art facilities, classroom technology, and experienced instructors.
Registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
