Loyola University Maryland named one of Money's Best Colleges in America

Loyola University Maryland earned 4.5 out of 5 stars on Money’s list of the 2026 Best Colleges in America. The ratings were compiled by analyzing quality of education, affordability, and outcomes, using metrics like graduation rates, student-faculty ratio, cost of attendance, financial aid, and alumni salaries.

“Loyola shines in several measures of student outcomes,” Money reported, adding that recent graduates post median earnings of more than $80,000. “Even alumni that don’t go into high-paying fields fare well financially.”

Only 735 out of more than 2,400 schools across the U.S. qualified for Money’s list of America’s Best Colleges in 2026, and only about 10% of those schools received a rating of 4.5 stars or higher. The online magazine uses a five-star rating system which “more accurately represents the variation in colleges’ performance.” Loyola is consistently included on the list.
