Loyola introduces four new and enhanced financial aid commitments, including a tuition-free offering

Loyola University Maryland is expanding its commitment to college access and affordability with three new financial aid initiatives and one enhanced financial aid opportunity available to undergraduate students who will enter in Fall 2027.

Maryland Promise

Through the new tuition-free Maryland Promise commitment, Loyola will guarantee that undergraduate tuition is fully covered through a combination of federal, state, and Loyola-funded grants and scholarships for eligible Maryland students who receive the Federal Pell Grant and Maryland Guaranteed Access Grant.

Charm City Promise

Loyola is also expanding its existing Charm City Promise to provide an even greater commitment to students from its home city of Baltimore.

Early Decision

Loyola is guaranteeing at least $40,000 annually in Loyola-funded scholarships and grants for students admitted through the University’s Early Decision programs.

Catholic High School Graduates

Loyola is also committing at least $40,000 annually to eligible graduates of Catholic high schools.
