Loyola University Maryland will celebrate its 33rd Annual Festival of Lessons and Carols on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 4:30pm in Alumni Memorial Chapel. You may join us in-person or livestream for this very special event.
This annual ecumenical service, rooted in the great English choral tradition, combines music and scripture readings of the Advent Christmas Season in a beautiful candle-lit setting.The Loyola University Chapel Choir and guest artists, under the direction of George P. Miller, Associate Director of Campus Ministry, perform seasonal music from a broad range of musical styles and traditions.
During the service, gifts are presented to representatives from local agencies to be distributed to children in the Baltimore area as part of the "Presence for Christmas" service project co-sponsored by Loyola’s Center for Community, Service, and Justice and Campus Ministry.

Admission in-person on Dec. 11 is free and advance registration is required. Tickets are currently sold out, but you may place your name on the waitlist through the link below.

Loyola University is located at the corner of Cold Spring Lane and North Charles Street in Baltimore City.
- When using I-695 (the Baltimore Beltway), take Exit 25 (Charles Street). Proceed south on N. Charles Street. Loyola is just north of the Cold Spring Lane intersection.
- Alumni Memorial Chapel (#16 on campus map) is located on the main academic quad accessible from Ennis Parallel (left off of N. Charles Street) and sidewalks from Coldspring and Millbrook Lanes.
- Parking during Lessons and Carols is available at the Fitness and Aquatic Center (#11 on the campus map) with frequent shuttles to the Sellinger Building, located on Ennis Parallel next to the chapel. There is NO street Parking from 4-6pm on Charles Street or Coldspring Lane.
