2024 Demo Day Highlights
Thank you to all who joined us to hear pitches and celebrate 12 inspiring local founders at Demo Day on March 19. Special thanks to ecosystem partners UpSurge Baltimore and Dent Education, as well as Loyola faculty, students, alumni, and mentors, for supporting this year's Baltipreneurs.
The following awards were presented at the spring 2024 Baltipreneurs Demo Day:
- Hustle Award (co-sponsored by PitchCreator): Iyonna Woods of Fancy Free Hair and Skin for achieving the most in the program, from making significant strategic and operational changes, to meeting aggressive milestones.
- Impact Award: Araba Maze of Storybook Maze for her platform’s potential to make the largest possible social and/or environmental impact in Baltimore and beyond.
- Peerless Award: Andrew Schmutter, '24 and Declan Budnitz, '24 of S&B Commerce for making the best use of the cohort to build a strong network, seek support and assist others.
- Greyhound Award: Dr. Rafael Casas from SpringWear for having the greatest potential to achieve 10x growth.
- Audience Choice Award: The audience recognized Ms. Maze of Storybook Maze for delivering the strongest pitch presentation of the evening.
