February 29- March 7, 2020
Loyola University Maryland is proud to announce the 17th annual Chilean Study Tour. All current MBA students are encouraged to join us!
Building on the success of previous tours, the 2020 Study Tour will offer MBA students the opportunity to combine traditional academic study with an immersion in South American culture. What makes this study tour unique is the ability for participants to interact with alumni from Loyola’s MBA program in Chile.
The tour is offered in a convenient 9-day format which requires only one week of leave from work. It includes five nights in Santiago and two nights in Viña del Mar (a beach resort near Santiago).

"This has absolutely been the highlight of my entire MBA experience and I hope the program is able to continue. This course and experiential education have no doubt created lifelong bonds that will serve us well in our personal and professional lives moving forward in a way that is hard to replicate.
"Huge thanks to you and Nan for the tireless work you did to make it a successful course and experience for our Chile 16 Group. The relationships you both have in Chile are a testament to your professionalism and dedication to higher education. You can see the impact you've also made on our Chilean alumni and corporate partnerships just by the way they interact with you, and go the extra mile to make each and every site visit, or experience the best it can be for our benefit. I am very thankful."
"Thank you very much for sharing your time, friends, and business partnerships with us! I will cherish this memory and our new friendships!"
"We just got back from the Chilean Study Tour last week and it was AMAZING! I had the best time and loved experiencing Chile. The international marketing class was able to experience some really interesting companies and Gerard was great. It is a trip I will be sure to remember the rest of my life."
"I will forever be grateful for the opportunity Loyola's Professional MBA program gave me to be a part of the 2019 Chilean study tour with Gerard Athaide and Nan Ellis, our amazing Professors that organized a once in a lifetime experience for our class. It was very sad to leave but I couldn't have asked for a better week with a better group of people!"
