Outdoor Adventure

Students rappelling and spelunking
First-year students on the Outdoor Adventure Pre-Fall Program will explore the natural world, reflect on their upcoming college experience, and learn the intricacies of one of the seven adventure activities we offer on this exciting, multi-day camping trip. Students are placed in small groups with student leaders, camping each night, while learning how to paddle, backpack, climb, or cave by day. The student instructor teams will also address questions and lead discussions on issues often in the minds of first-year students. This experience is designed to allow incoming students to have fun, make lasting friendships, and ease the transition to college life.
