Beginning in summer 2022, Loyola University Maryland will offer two new day camp programs, Camp Greyhound for school-aged children in grades 1-6 and Evergreen Academy for grades 5-12.

Camp Greyhound is a traditional day camp offering adventure, sport, and creativity camp all in one. Campers will have an opportunity to explore new interests, try new activities, and learn along the way in a positive and energetic atmosphere with theme-days, specialized activities, and camp counselor mentors. Activities include a climbing wall, swimming, hiking, ball sports, yoga and dance, water play, board games and card games, scavenger hunts, arts, crafts, and movies.

Evergreen Academy will offer children in grades 5-12 week-long summer enrichment programs that teach students additional skills beyond those learned in a traditional classroom setting. The diverse curriculum for Evergreen Academy has been designed and created by Loyola faculty members to engage students throughout the week, while teaching them a new set of skills they can take into the new school year.

Each camp will be held on Loyola’s Evergreen campus, providing access to Loyola’s state-of-the-art facilities, classroom technology, and experienced instructors.

Registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Each camp is licensed by the Maryland State Department of Health and will follow University COVID guidelines.
