October 2025 Newsletter

Happy Spooky Season!
To celebrate October we’re trick-or-treating in the Biology Department! No costume necessary.
You’ve probably noticed the “Cool Things” bulletin board on DS floor 2. Here you can post about the interesting biology things you’ve done outside of the classroom. This could be an internship, summer research, volunteer work, or something else! When you post your cool thing on the bulletin board it helps inspire fellow students looking for their next cool thing, it connects you to fellow students with similar interests, and it lets the department know what you’ve been up to. We want to brag about you!
Here is how to trick-or-treat:
1. Fill out a sticky note provided at the bulletin board with your cool thing.
2. Bring your sticky note to DS 247.
3. Exchange your sticky note for candy!
Stay Curious!
