Rev. Bill Rickle, S.J., '70, Loyola's alumni chaplain, offers a prayer of Thanksgiving for our community:

Good and Gracious God,

We thank you for the blessings and signs of love you have bestowed upon us.
For friends and family who accompany us on life's journey.
For the gifts of wisdom and courage in times of confusion and anxiety.
For feasting in times of plenty, and for the sharing among us in times of lean.
For good health while we enjoy it and for loving care when we falter. They lift us up in ways that keep our eyes focused on You and make our spirits soar.

Help us to see Your hand in all things,
And to share Your kindness and generosity with others.
May our gratitude extend beyond this day,
Into lives of service, love, and faithfulness.

In Your holy name, we pray.
Amen.
