Overview of Major
Studying history allows students to develop important skills—the ability to read critically, to write and communicate clearly, and to analyze and synthesize large quantities of information—that are transferable to numerous professions. Where They Got Hired: History, Class of 2015
The Career Center at Loyola University Maryland conducts an annual follow-up survey with new Loyola graduates between six and nine months after Commencement to paint a comprehensive picture of the professional paths each class has chosen. Nearly 86 percent of the Class of 2015 responded to the survey.
