Federal Work-Study Student Position Description - CCSJ Service Program Assistant 

Service Program Assistant will be responsible for leadership roles supporting the CCSJ Service Coordinator. This position can be held for one semester or the whole academic year. The pay rate of this position is according to the rate of current State of Maryland minimum wage.


Community Site Assistant

  • Serve as a point person/support for other Loyola volunteers on-site
  • Provide site-related feedback to CCSJ Service Coordinator
  • Drive volunteers to site, must be MotorPool Certified (preferred but not mandatory, varies by site)
  • Assist with planning and facilitating activities (if necessary)
  • Attend a regular meeting or check-in with CCSJ Service Coordinator
  • Complete self-performance evaluation each semester

Program Assistant

  • Assist CCSJ Service Coordinator to plan and implement the program or the project 
  • Provide program/project-related feedback to the Service Coordinator
  • Attend the monthly reflection or regular meeting or check-in with Service Coordinator
  • Complete self-performance evaluation each semester
