Questions and Answers about the GSO Painting Event

What is it?

This is a social painting event to take place at Painting with a Twist in Timonium, MD.

Who can attend?

All Loyola graduate students are welcome!  Optionally, each graduate student may bring one guest (21 and over)

What does it cost?

$10.  The studio charges $40, but your Graduate Student Organization is subsidizing the rest.

How do I register?

Click here to pre-register for the event on "The Bridge", Loyola's student events platform.  Pre-registration is required for this event.  Once we receive your payment, we will contact the studio to pay the remainder and reserve your space.  Then, we will send you a confirmation. 

Refunds?

Once we pay the remaining $30 to the studio and send your confirmation, there are no refunds. If the event is full, your payment will be refunded.

What are we painting?

We are painting "Misty Mountain Flowers" on 16x20 canvases.

Do you need any painting experience?

Nope!  An instructor will be there to guide us through making our own paintings, step-by-step.

What if I don't know anybody there?

The idea of this event is to meet other graduate students!  We look forward to meeting you!

Do I need to bring anything?

We will provide light snacks.  You are welcome to bring a beverage of your own.  The studio will provide cups.

Can kids attend?

No, we ask that guests be 21 or older.

Can I just show up at the event?

No, pre-registration is required.  You must register through The Bridge in order to get the subsidized price of $10.  (The studio will charge you $40).
