Sexual and Gender-Based Misconduct
Loyola University Maryland is committed to providing an environment free from sex-based discrimination and harassment. As a campus community, we are committed to education, training, and services that encourage healthy, safe, and respectful relationships. At Loyola, we go beyond compliance with federal laws around gender-based violence, and we aspire to provide an environment that is rooted in our Jesuit traditions of justice and respect for others.
Loyola does not tolerate any kind of gender-based discrimination and harassment, which includes but not limited to:
- Sexual assault
- Sexual harassment
- Gender-based harassment
These behaviors are addressed through Loyola University Maryland’s Harassment and Discrimination Policy, which includes:
- How Loyola prevents sex-based harassment and discrimination
- The process for reporting sex-based harassment, discrimination, or retaliation
- The procedures for adjudicating allegations involving any member of the University community
