Prepare to Lead

One of the primary aims of our office is to develop Loyola students into strong, confident leaders. Besides offering leadership positions within the Student Government Association, Hound Activities and Programming board, and club executive boards, we provide year-round opportunities for all students to connect with thier peers and collectively grow in their leadership skills.

Student Leadership Corps (SLC) is an eight-week program designed for Sophomore students which provides mentorship, reflection opportunities, and hands-on activities centered around leadership development. Students are eligable to apply in the Spring semester of their first year for the following Fall semester's Sophomore cohort.

Each fall, our office hosts the Greyhound Leadership Summit, and full day conference-style experience where student presenters and outside speakers share insights into their personal leadership journies and give advice to students looking to lead at Loyola and beyond.

Additional opportunities include our annual Leadership Fair where students can hear how to get involved in various leadership positions across campus, as well as workshops throughout the year which are open to all students.
