There are two components to the Ignatius Scholars Program:

  • Student Arrival: Saturday, August 22
  • Welcome Reception: Saturday, August 22
  • ISP Orientation: Saturday, August 22
  • Classes Begin: Monday, August 10
  • Program Concludes: Thursday, August 27

12:45 p.m. Group Lunch 
1:30 p.m. Study Hall/Academic Advising Meeting
2:45 p.m. Workshop (time management, study skills, life at Loyola, etc.)
4 p.m. Study Time

Special enrichment activities and cultural excursions have been planned for various evenings and weekends including a community service project, cultural tours around Baltimore, and various social activities. These activities are tentatively scheduled to take place during the 2021 Spring Semester.

2020 Fall Semester

The fall semester component consists of:

  • Bi-weekly group meetings with an Academic Advising administrator who will provide academic support and strategies
  • Participating in Messina, premier living learning program, as part of their first-year schedule  
  • Weekly individual meetings with an Academic Advising administrator
  • Ten study hours per week
