Below is the Schedule for Fall Transfer Welcome Weekend 2022. An updated and accurate schedule will be available when you report to campus.

Saturday, September 3rd

Move-In

Residential students receive their room key and Loyola student ID card. Please refer to the move-in information from Student Life.

Evergreen Small Group Meetings

 Get some time to engage in dialogue and connect with your Evergreens and fellow transfer students.

2:45PM - 3:15PM

Transfer Student Welcome Reception

Students invited to a reception where various members of the campus community will be present to welcome you to the Loyola community, mingle, and answer questions.

3:15PM - 4:45PM

Academic Support Session

5:00PM - 5:45PM

Community and Safety at Loyola

The experience of being a student begins with what happens in the residence halls and classrooms, but extends beyond that into the City of Baltimore. Come learn more about being a member of this shared community, the expectations placed on students, interactions with the local area, and more.

Know More: Building a Community of Consent

This session is part of a continuing conversation about building a community free of sexual misconduct. We will address definitions of consent and sexual misconduct, including processes for reporting and addressing incidents and resources. You will also learn how you can play a role in building a strong community by intervening in situations where there is potential for harm.

Campus Involvement Session and Q&A

Interested in different ways to get involved on campus? Come to this informational session where you can learn about the endless possibilities to get involved and feel connected to the Loyola community. This session includes a generalized Q&A.

2:30PM - 3:15PM

Adult/Military Informational Session

Are you an adult learner or previously served in the military? This session will be led by past transfer students who were in the same shoes. They will talk about their transition to Loyola, tips, tricks and advice.

Commuter Student Meeting

Our Commuter Student Organization (CSO) will share tips and hints on how to be successful as a commuter student on campus.

Transfer Student Organization (TSO) Meeting 

Our TSO will share how they help transfer students transition and connect through the academic year.

Sunday Liturgy - Chapel

We invite students to join in for our weekly Sunday liturgy.

 Women's Soccer Game - Ridley

Hop on a shuttle up to Ridley for your first game as a Hound to cheer on the Women's Soccer team as they take on Fairleigh Dickinson! Come attend the student tailgate (5pm) prior to the game hosted by SuperFans, first 500 students will receive a SuperFans T-shirt! Shuttles will pick up students from the Library and Newman Towers starting at 4pm. Remember to bring your student ID!

 Eric Dittelman: Comedy Mind Reader - Reitz Arena

As seen as a semi-finalist on NBC's "America's Got Talent" and a guest on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," Eric Dittelman combines amazing mind reading with stand-up and improvisational comedy. Whether playing a round of Pictionary while Eric's eyes are duct taped shut, or having a personal thought revealed from their minds, audience members become part of the show and leave with a fun experience that they'll never forget.
