U.S. News & World Report ranks Loyola No. 7 among Best Regional Universities North

Maintaining its position in the top 10 for more than a decade, Loyola University Maryland was ranked No. 7 among the “Best Regional Universities North” in U.S. News & World Report’s 2026 “Best Colleges” rankings.
Loyola was also ranked tied for No. 2 in “Undergraduate Teaching” in the North Region. The ranking recognizes the commitment and dedication to high-quality undergraduate teaching by Loyola’s faculty and administrators.

- No. 96 for “Undergraduate Psychology Programs” (tied)
To calculate the rankings, U.S. News & World Report analyzed more than 1,700 national colleges and universities on up to 17 measures of academic quality, with an emphasis on graduate outcomes and social mobility.
