Many things were put on hold at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, but Matthew’s pursuit of his Master of Business Administration was not one of them. “I have been amazed by the real-world examples and relevant coursework at Loyola thus far, demonstrating professors’ ability to pivot and deliver a top-notch education for students amid a global health crisis.” Access to world-class faculty has been critical for Matthew, a financial center manager for Bank of America. “Professor Bell [former managing director at Legg Mason] has been serving as one of my mentors. His insights and experiences have added significant value toward my personal and professional growth. He demonstrates how invested the faculty at Loyola are in the success of their students.” Matthew was first drawn to the program for its reputation and rankings—including Best MBA Program in Maryland and Best Graduate Schools, from the Daily Record and U.S. News & World Report, respectively. He believes the rankings hold true and credits what he’s learned so far with helping him get selected for a leadership forum within his company. “The MBA program at Loyola has enhanced my decision-making ability on the enterprise level, improved my emotional intelligence and executive presence, and empowered me to build my network of motivated, talented professionals across multiple industries.”
