Loyola's major in biology provides the depth, scope and skills necessary for successful admission to graduate and professional schools or for direct entry into the job market. The biology department also actively collaborates with other departments to provide students an opportunity to pursue interdisciplinary majors or a minor to supplement their other coursework.
