Course Operating Funds
Eligibility

Only P&J designated courses that count towards the P&J minor are eligible to receive P&J course operating funds.

Applications are welcome from tenured, tenure-track, and full-time clinical and teaching faculty across all academic disciplines at Loyola University Maryland.
Funding
Course operating funds can be used for things such as:

Honorarium for local guest speakers to present in class

Equipment or materials for projects that promote P&J minor learning aims
-
Experiential learning opportunities that promote P&J minor learning aims
-
Workshops or hosting events that enhance P&J minor learning aims
-
Other reasonable expenses that would significantly enhance student learning of P&J minor learning aims
Applications
- Applications should briefly outline: the amount of funds requested, how the funds will be used, and how the proposed activity promotes P&J minor learning aims.
Submissions
- Applications are considered on a rolling basis. The steering committee meets monthly.
- Applications should be submitted electronically to the Director, Office of Peace and Justice, Dr. Heidi Shaker, at hcshaker@loyola.edu.
