Gospel Choir

This year, Loyola’s Chosen Generation Gospel Choir will be hosting our first virtual retreat! Join the choir, and guest speakers, as we discuss the influence of Black gospel music. We will hear from Reverend Scott Adams, Maurice Carroll, Lea Gilmore, and Patrick Alston. There will also be opportunities to meet the choir, as we participate in small group discussions. This retreat is open to Loyola and the community! For all who join, you will also be able to view our virtual concert before anyone else!

Who would be interested?

  • I’ve never been on a retreat.
  • I am interested in music and singing.
  • I would like to know more about gospel music and its history.
  • I am looking to connect with other Loyola students and community members.

Cost:

The virtual retreat is free to Loyola students and staff. Community members are asked to contribute a $15 fee, which will be used to support the ministry of Chosen Generation Gospel Choir.
