This year the Interfaith Retreat will be virtual!
Our morning retreat will cultivate Beloved Community through storytelling with an interfaith lens.
We invite Loyola students of all religious and non-religious backgrounds to engage in meaningful dialogue with other students for a time of sharing and learning. Over the course of our morning together students, participants and administrators of different faith traditions will share stories and reflect on their unique faith experiences. We will offer safe and empowering spaces of equality where all can freely express their truths and their needs, with the goal of celebrating religious diversity, while building bridges across traditions. This retreat will provide students with an opportunity to deepen their understanding of both the religious experiences of others and their own religious identities.
April 10, 2021 from 9am-12pm
This virtual retreat will be free of cost.
Next year, this retreat will be offered to students at an introductory price of $35, down from the standard retreat fee of $75.
The registration fee for most retreats is $75. Some retreats are offered at the introductory rate of $35. All payments can be made by credit card, debit, Evergreen, cash or check (payable to Loyola University Maryland). The fee covers transportation, lodging, meals, and all other expenses for the weekend. The entire cost of a weekend retreat for one student is $190.00, however, Campus Ministry subsidizes $120+ of the retreat cost per student.
Full payment is due at least 14 days prior to the Retreat (some retreats require earlier payment). If you have not paid, you forfeit your spot on the retreat. $25 of your registration fee is a non-refundable deposit. If you cancel your registration by contacting the Retreat Director more than one week in advance, you will be refunded your fee minus the deposit. If you cancel less than one week in advance, your full payment is non-refundable.
Please note, submitting a registration form does not guarantee your spot on the retreat. Campus Ministry has a commitment to building community on retreats where students have the opportunity to learn, share, and pray with students from diverse backgrounds and identities. To ensure this intentional diversity, after you submit your registration, students may be placed on the waiting list. You will be notified to confirm a spot on the retreat.
