The Men’s Retreat is a time for you to take several days away from campus and hang out with other Loyola men. During the weekend, you’ll be given the opportunity not only to look at your life by reflecting on your relationships with other men, women, and God, but also to get a better sense of who you are and where you’re going. It’s a time of insights, soul-searching, and more than a few laughs. It’s also the best kept secret on campus, although those who have made this retreat typically describe it as one of the most important experiences—if not THE most important experience—they’ve had during their time here at Loyola. Unfortunately, because of the nature of the retreat, the weekend is limited to 25 participants, and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. We hope you will consider joining us for what promises to be an unforgettable experience.
Friday, March 19th from 6-10pm and Saturday, March 20th from 12pm- 5pm
This retreat is offered free in Spring 2021.
Typically, when this retreat involves traveling to the Loyola Retreat Center, the cost is $35, down from the standard retreat fee of $75.
The registration fee for most retreats is $75. Some retreats are offered at the introductory rate of $35. All payments can be made by credit card, debit, Evergreen, cash or check (payable to Loyola University Maryland). The fee covers transportation, lodging, meals, and all other expenses for the weekend. The entire cost of a weekend retreat for one student is $190.00, however, Campus Ministry subsidizes $120+ of the retreat cost per student.
Full payment is due at least 14 days prior to the Retreat (some retreats require earlier payment). If you have not paid, you forfeit your spot on the retreat. $25 of your registration fee is a non-refundable deposit. If you cancel your registration by contacting the Retreat Director more than one week in advance, you will be refunded your fee minus the deposit. If you cancel less than one week in advance, your full payment is non-refundable.
Loyola believes that cost should never prohibit a student from experiencing a retreat. Generous donors provide scholarships for any and all students who require support to attend a retreat. If paying with credit card, you may request a scholarship by entering one of the Scholarship Codes below on the payment screen. If paying in person in Campus Ministry, scholarship codes will be provided at the time of payment.
